Bristol’s Muslim community has officially condemned what it calls the “terrorist atrocities” last night in Paris.
Abdul Malik, chair of Easton Jamia Masjid, has issued a statement from the mosque’s management, imaams and congregation expressing their “sadness and shock” at the killings in the French capital.
The statement reads:”As chair of Easton Jamia Masjid, I’d like to represent the management, Imaam’s and our local community and congregation in expressing the sadness and shock felt by today’s attacks on innocent people in France.
“Indeed we strongly condemn the terrorist atrocities in France this evening, these sickening crimes are an attack against all of humanity.
